Andrew DePaolo has over 20 years of experience in the operations and program management of aircraft maintenance and flight operations. Mr. DePaolo specializes in industrial and occupational safety, risk management, hazardous materials and waste programs, and workers’ compensation program administration. As part of his extensive background, he also possesses expertise in electrical control and power distribution systems maintenance. Mr. DePaolo served distinctly in the United States Navy and achieved the rank of Chief Petty Officer specializing in aviation operations of both rotary and fixed wing maintenance platforms, earning him several distinguished awards for leadership and technical abilities. Andrew DePaolo worked for one of the largest worldwide retailers involved with all facets of the retail safety environment. He has also been recognized as a leader in that industry by establishing and influencing standards for the hazardous waste management programs throughout the $60 billion-dollar retailer. Mr. DePaolo is a graduate studies professor for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a member of the Educational Technology Department and faculty staff since 2001. Mr. DePaolo teaches in areas of Occupational Safety and Environmental Health, Hazardous Materials Control and Management, Risk Management, and several aviation specialties including FAA Certifications for mechanics and pilots. Mr. DePaolo is an accomplished training specialist in curriculum development and training program management; and is currently a consultant and published writer of occupation safety literature and articles for a popular worker’s compensation legal forum. As a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Mr. DePaolo received his Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Aeronautics and his Masters Degree in Aeronautical Science specializing in Aeronautical Safety Systems. Andrew holds an Advanced Safety Certificate from the National Safety Council and various certifications for the U.S. Department of Labor, including the OSHA General Industry Safety and Health program and Hazardous Substance Emergency Incident Response Manager. Mr. DePaolo is President of AJDePaolo.com, a full-service industrial safety education and program management firm in the Southern California area. Andrew DePaolo is active in his community and has participated in numerous community projects including building and restoring homes with Habitats for Humanity; and KaBOOM, a one-day community event focused on providing playgrounds for underprivileged children.
